Prison Magazine Ministry

With the Lord’s blessing and your faithful support, RCR's Prison Ministry continues spreading the Gospel through the magazine, The Gospel Behind Barbed Wire.

Considering the need in prisons, we would like to be able to increase the number of magazines we can print; our last increase was in 2017, from 6500 to 7500 copies of each issue, printing 6 issues per year. Praise God! Since it is funded 100% by freewill donations, we can only increase the number of copies as God provides. We believe that God will provide and fulfill the needs of His ministry, and our faith is based on multiple blessings and miracles we have seen.

As our faith and desire to help is encouraged by the letters received from prisons, below are just a few inspirational excerpts out of hundreds of letters we receive:

Reporter No.1, 2024

God, Who Gives Hope! God often uses misfortune to turn a person toward Himself and give him hope. People testify to this. This seems especially true in the lives of those who are exhausted by their sins and addictions, one of our primary areas of ministry.

Pirkko Homes - We received some updates recently from the Pirkko Home Liberation Centers, where our staff helps those who want to be free from their sins and addictions.

RCR Studio Ministry - We thank the Lord for His guidance and care in the development of the RCR media ministry. Currently, more than 142,000 people have subscribed to the RCR Studio’s YouTube channel.

The Gospel Behind Barbed Wire Prison Magazine - The fifth and sixth issues of the magazine for 2023 were also printed in the USA for the first time – a small edition of 70 copies for Russian-speaking subscribers there. In December 2023, we published 7,000 copies of the highly anticipated supplement to the magazine.

Pirkko Home Liberation Center Ministry, Nodari Mangasarov: Today there are 9 people in the program here. We hasten to share our joy; each of them has repented before the Lord and is focused on spiritual life.

The Gospel Behind Barbed Wire (GBBW) Magazine Ministry, Eduard Zavedeyev: The next magazine has the theme “Choice” - The cover shows a phone call coming from Jesus, and the choice to accept or decline His call. Some prisons/prisoners have difficulty obtaining our magazines. Pray that the magazines will reach the recipients.
